The luxurious Peninsula Hotel of Hong Kong is renowned for its fleet of Rolls-Royces, which initially comprised seven Silver Shadows; a fact immortalised in the Bond film 'The Man With The Golden Gun'. This very smartly presented right-hand drive Shadow II is one of three examples finished in 'Peninsula Green' especially built for the 1977 Motorshow. The distinctive exterior colour is complemented by a Beige velour interior, leather roof lining and sheep skin rugs. The vendor rates the Shadow as "very good" in all major departments and states that renowned Rolls-Royce Specialist P&A Wood currently value it at £20,000 for insurance purposes, and reckons the included registration - '805 RU' - is alone worth £2,000 due to it being a factory number plate. Offered for sale with MOT certificate valid until April 2014 with no advisories and road fund licence valid until October 2013 '805 RU' currently shows an unwarranted 44,000 miles and comes with a extensive history file.
