Recent bodywork restoration in original colour of Lincoln Green
Offered with a history file and the current V5C
Launched in 1970 under the slogan "A Car for All Reasons," the Range Rover introduced a groundbreaking concept in the automotive world. It can be considered one of the earliest examples of what we now know as SUVs, seamlessly combining the renowned off-road and towing capabilities of Land Rover with a top speed of 100mph and a focus on passenger comfort. The 'Suffix A' Range Rovers are particularly coveted among enthusiasts and collectors. These models can be identified by the letter 'A' at the end of their chassis numbers, signifying their adherence to the original design principles.
First registered in 1972, this original 'matching numbers' Suffix A example of the Range Rover has the 4-speed manual gearbox and is still with its original engine, gearbox and axle. Finished in Lincoln Green with a Pampas interior and displaying 84,000 miles, it has been the subject of a recent bodywork restoration in its original Lincoln Green with additional restoration work on the interior (supplied by Nationwide), all carried out by KRC Automotive. The Range Rover still requires wiring and the electrics etc and presents as an attractive proposition for an enthusiast to complete. It is being offered at the sale with a history file containing a collection of invoices and the current V5C.
