High-quality luggage/dressing case of wood and crocodile hide construction, contains a selection of ornate solid silver vanity and stationary requisites bearing the marks of 1897 and 1898. The finely-cut Bristol crystal glass is offered in excellent condition with no obvious chips, damage or cracks. Formerly the property of Emily Mary Jessop of 39 Park Lane - London, monogrammed with her initials to lid. Offered with a January 1972-dated valuation of £400 for probate by Quaintways Fine Antique Furniture, Norfolk. Very good original condition, save for light handling wear commensurate with age. The highest quality and most impressive travelling vanity case we have had the pleasure of offering.
