Lot details Registration No: TSY 445 Chassis No: 66890 Mot Expiry: None
According to its accompanying Northern Ireland VLCO logbook, this handsome Rover was first road registered on March 15th 1931. A Pilot model powered by a straight-six OHV engine allied to four-speed manual transmission, it wears Weymann fabric-covered saloon coachwork. Entering the current ownership over ten years ago, 'TSY 335' was reportedly treated to a degree of restoration during the mid 1990s. Retrimmed with new leather upholstery and fresh carpets during 2009, the Rover is believed but not warranted to have covered circa 92,000 miles from new. Riding on artillery wheels, the Pilot is described by the vendor as being in "good" condition with regard to its engine, gearbox, electrical equipment and bodywork (though, he notes that the latter would benefit from some treatment).
Please note : We have since been informed that the Rover is a 10/25 Weymann Saloon although it does have a Rover pilot 6 Cylinder engine.
