Lot details
Registration No: L225WGF
Chassis No: WPOZZZ99ZRS311988
Mot Expiry: 25.8.2006

Originally registered in Germany in March 1994 as a 993 Carrera before being sent to D.P.Motorsport for conversion to GT2 style by one of its two German owners. The conversion was extensive and comprehensive including: a full wide-body GT2 bodyshell, lowered suspension with D.P. Motorsport sport springs (993 RS equivalent) and Bilstein sport damper inserts, front strut brace, 993 turbo brakes, BBS GT2 3-piece split rim wheels with 245/40 ZR 18" tyres to the front and 315/30 ZR 18" to the rear, modified ECU for the retained naturally aspirated engine (currently 293bhp at the flywheel) and a sports exhaust. Inside the car it received grey leather trimmed race bucket seats with Schroth 4-belt harnesses and yellow backed dials to the dashboard. D.P. Motorsport's reputation for quality is well known and they built the bodyshells for the Kremer 935 Porsches in the 1970's. It is believed that the car was sold by the second owner and imported into the UK in the summer of 1998 for inclusion in the private collection of its first UK owner. It was registered and MOT'd in September and the mileage on the first MOT was 45,799kms. It changed hands in August 2004 to the previous owner at 56,103kms and again to the present private collector for inclusion in his collection in December 2004. Currently the car shows 62000kms (approx 39,000 miles) and is tested and taxed until the summer of this year. Upon purchase, the fastidious present owner had the car checked over by John Greasleys 'G-Force' Motorsport in Aylesbury and any defects found at that time were corrected. Subsequently further work has been carried out by Colin Belton's Ninemeister Company in Warrington which has included a rolling road power test to confirm the improvement in performance over a standard car. The owner informs us that it is in immaculate condition and maintained regardless of cost, the air-conditioning was regassed in May 2005, and is only offered for sale to help fund a more significant purchase. It is believed to be unique in the UK and comes complete with a fitted indoor car cover in a black fleece material bearing the Porsche logo.

All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
