Lot details Registration No: RPK223M Chassis No: 9113103203 Mot Expiry: May 2005
Offered here is an all numbers matching 911T coupe as originally supplied by Porsche agents Vasek Polak of Hermosa Beach, California, to Porsche enthusiast, one Robert Todd. On file are the original bill of sale for the $ equivalent of £250 as well as factory-supplied owners handbook and service booklet. All known receipts from day one are present as are copies of the logbook and old MOTs, the latest not requiring renewal until next April, a complete set of Porsche workshop manuals and a Porsche supplied 1973 S-style front bib spoiler which cost £1000 and is still in the original box.
We understand that the lefthand drive fixed head was first imported to the UK in 1990 by Chris Goodwin and that, subsequently, the GT was then won by Stephen Crooks in a Daily Mail 'Win A Porsche' competition.
All panels are believed to be the originals with all production plates and factory stickers still in place where they should be on the bodywork. Indeed, shell and paintwork in Rose Red are described as being in excellent condition and tan interior very good, though the dashboard is cracked. The 2.4-litre 6-cylinder engine and the 5-speed manual transmission, reportedly both in excellent working order, the former having had an Hydraulic cam chain tensioner conversion carried out by AFN. Although it cannot be fully authenticated, the 63,000 mileage displayed when entered is believed by the vendor to be the genuine total.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
