Introduced in late 1934 for the following model year, the Riley 12/4 range was powered by a sophisticated 'twin cam' 1496cc four-cylinder engine. Undeniably sporty in nature, the newcomer could be had with a variety of open and closed coachwork. Finished in Green over Black with Green upholstery, 'BDU 350' is described by the vendor as being in 'very good' (interior trim, paintwork, electrical equipment) or 'excellent' (1.5 litre four-cylinder engine, four-speed pre-selector transmission, bodywork) condition. Reportedly treated to a pre-selector gearbox refurbishment by Bill Morris in 1999, an engine overhaul (including a re-bore and new Omega pistons) in 2002 and two new half-shafts in 2011, the rebodied four-seater has been in the current ownership for over twenty years.
