Purchased by its previous keeper in 1989 who laid it up from 1992 until 2006 when he sold it to the vendor who commenced an exhaustive eight-year long restoration. Submitted for MOT testing for the first time in twenty-two years on 24th June 2014, the Ford sailed through. The following work was carried out as part of the refurbishment:

New fuel accumulator, fuel pump and fuel metering head
New front suspension bushes
New front and rear wheel bearings
Original steering rack, with new gaitors and ball joints
Fully waxoyled throughout
New brake pipes where required
New front indicators
New side repeat indicators
New side stripes
