Lot details Registration No: Un-Reg Chassis No: 100005 Mot Expiry: None
Supplied new to Martock Council Fire Brigade during September 1938, this Leyland Cub remained on active service in the Somerset village for several decades. Entering the current ownership over forty years ago, the fire engine has only recently been disinterred from long term barn storage. Not run for some time, it is believed but not warranted that the FK6's 27hp six-cylinder engine still turns over. Missing its Gwynne fire pump but retaining a large selection of equipment, bells, hoses and search lights etc, the Leyland has the makings of a rewarding restoration project. Formerly road registered as 'DYC 646', it is offered for sale without a V5C Registration Document.
PLEASE NOTE: The estimate on this vehicle is £3,000 - 4,000 and not as stated in the catalogue.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
