Ferrari introduced the 365GT4 2+2 at the 1972 Paris Salon, which with an increase in capacity from 4.4 to 4.8-litres and other more minor changes evolved into the 400 that debuted at the same event in 1976. Fuel injection then replaced the 400's six 38DCOE Webers to create the 400i first seen in 1979. 'HYE 100W' hails from 1981. Its bodywork is finished in Rosso Corsa that's teamed with a luxurious Magnolia-coloured hide interior. It is a genuine righthand drive example equipped with the optional automatic transmission. The vendor informs us that the 60,000 miles displayed is correct, and presently regards the Prancing Horse's gearbox and interior trim as 'good' and the bodywork, paintwork and V12 engine as 'fair'. He is selling the Ferrari complete with no less than two folders full of receipts and other paperwork, including a bill concerning the engine service carried out last year by marque specialist Keys Motorsport of Silverstone.
