This amazingly clean and bright Ford Escort 1.8 D Van was supplied new to its one and only private owner by Rugby Autocar Ford of Nuneaton on the 15th of April 1992, and it still proudly wears its original dealer number plates and tax disc holder to this day !
Finished in Radiant Red, with a virtually unmarked grey cloth trim, this mainly original little van has lived a relatively sheltered life. Looking at the bodywork and the rear load area, it looks like this van has hardly ever been called upon to carry out the usual duties of an Escort Van.
The original Ford rubber load mat is still in place and the internal side panels and rear bulkhead panel are virtually "as new".
Requiring some remedial and re commissioning works this Escort has covered, what is only 57,600 recorded "workshy" miles with a stamped service booklet containing 9 service entries. We also have the originally owner's wallet containing all the relevant manuals and booklets of the time, two original Ford keys with key number tag and an original dealer key fob!
