Bultaco had benefitted from the Rickman brothers design and riding skills when they initially entered the motocross field. By the early seventies the British influence ceased to be apparent with the model adopting smoother, rider friendly styling, advances in suspension design combined with an excellent frame resulted in the Pursang being regarded as one of the finest handling machines in its class allowing the rider to exploit the potential of the robust, powerful engine.
This example was purchased by a dealer having stood for 33 years. It was stripped preparatory to a rebuild which did not take place until it was purchased by the vendor in 2011. The frame was powder coated, new rings and seals were fitted as was a clutch and the cosmetics were attended to. It is described as a good runner, although displaying typically Spanish starting characteristics, with good cosmetics and cycle parts.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
