Lot details Registration No: BF 5939 Chassis No: 97515 Mot Expiry: Exempt
Finished in Burgundy with black leather interior 'BF 5939' has very little early history beyond having been imported into the UK in recent times from an American dealer by Tuckett Brothers, the Model 'T' Ford specialists in Buckinghamshire. The Oldsmobile's restoration was carried out in 2008 by Mark Freimiller of Model 'T' Haven, Kansas, USA. With the car comes a copy of the 40-page Instruction Book for the 1914 Model 42 which includes lubrication charts and wiring diagrams, plus a 68-page Parts List for the Model 43, dated 1916. Overall the vendor describes 'BF 5939' as a handsome, unaltered and well-preserved vehicle that has been sympathetically restored and carefully maintained; a well-equipped Edwardian touring car that is fully comparable with cars some ten and more years younger.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
