Further Info:
First registered by Bath County Council on 2nd September 1929 (or so its `FB 7895' number plate would imply), chassis 282827 is understood to have had just four keepers between 1938 and 2005 when it entered the current ownership. Dry stored for thirty-four years by its previous custodian, the Morris has since been restored / converted into a Trials Special. Rebodied in lightweight aluminium over ash (albeit using the original scuttle, bonnet and front wings), the four-seater also benefits from a rear-mounted fuel tank, turbulent cylinder head, fabricated exhaust manifold and twin spare wheels
Regularly campaigned and enjoyed in recent years, `FB 7895' has been treated to an engine overhaul (re-bore / re-white metalling / new pistons) and new clutch in the last 100 and 10 miles respectively. Well known in VSCC circles, the Morris is accompanied by one of the Club's `buff forms'. Starting readily upon inspection, this appealing Trials Special is offered for sale with buff logbook, V5C Registration Document and sundry other paperwork.
A new 2-seater steel body (finished in primer) and various other parts are available for sale by separate negotiation should a new owner wish to return the Cowley to standard specification.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
