Lot details Registration No: JJL371P Chassis No: 9L69 NEY125933 Mot Expiry: Aug 2005
This Vauxhall Victor 2300S was first registered 1st August 1975 and is a genuine three-owner car. With 56,577 miles recorded in August of this year. Said to be exceptionally and surprisingly fast, the four-door family saloon was acquired by the vendor, a leading collector, at one of our Buxton sales in 1995, since when it has been mainly stored and only used occasionally as a spare runabout!
We are told that the previous owner, quite old allegedly, had inflicted a few minor scrapes to the bodywork during his tenure, though nonetheless current condition of blue paintwork and velour trim is claimed to be good as are wheels and tyres.
The history file contains a rare sales leaflet for this model as well as previous MOTs. Having not been used for the last four years, it sailed through its current MOT in August of this year, the current certificate therefore valid until next August. Clients should also be aware that this lot is being auctioned entirely `Without Reserve' and therefore will be knocked down to the highest bid made here today.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
