Some 37,459 of the latter were created during its six-year production run. The vendor purchased this now most eye-catching of right-hand drive examples in standard specification and finished in White. It is has since been transformed into a Red and Yellow liveried, street-legal track-day machine complete with hand-made aluminium wheel arches and fully welded in roll cage. He now classes the bodywork, paintwork, Black interior trim, 2-litre twin-cam engine and five-speed manual gearbox as all being `good for year' and has displayed the car at a number of Alfa Romeo-related car shows.
