For the 1935 season Sunbeam had introduced a new, high cam 250 class single displacing 248cc typed the 16 which remained in the catalogue for being replaced for the 1936 season by the "returning" 246cc Model 14 and its high piped sibling, the Model 14 Sport. This variant retained the diamond frame of the standard 14 but was equipped with upswept exhaust system.
The example offered was cosmetically restored during 2005/2006 with the engine being rebuilt during 2010/2011. Described as being an easy starter, running well and being in good condition throughout with all systems functioning as they should it has been ridden to the Isle of Man from Lincolnshire by the vendor and seen extensive use on club runs. Offered with a Swansea V5C and an MOT certificate valid until the 15th August 2013 it is ready for the summer.
