Lot details
Registration No: B299FPU
Chassis No: ZAR116360*00065457
Mot Expiry: April 2016

- Supplied new by S.I.A.M of Modena and imported from the same city in 2014

- LHD, black velour upholstery, 5-speed manual, radio delete and fresh MOT

- 53,000 recorded Kms and reportedly in 'very good overall' condition

Within the handbook pack that accompanies this beautiful Alfa Romeo is the service book which states that it was sold new on September 11th 1984 by the dealership S.I.A.M. of Modena, the town which the vendor informed us that he purchased the car from in 2014. A copy of the Italian registration document is on file so the history of this GTV could always be discovered by contacting the Italian Public Register for motor vehicles. The paintwork is described by the vendor as being in 'very good' condition and we presume that it has been repainted at some time in its life, and the interior trim has also been described as being in 'very good' condition. The dashboard features an Alfa Romeo blanking plate where the radio would normally reside so it is expected that the car has never been fitted with an audio system, the driver quite rightly enjoying the legendary Alfa Romeo twin-cam exhaust note instead. With other areas of the car being described by the vendor as being in 'very good' condition, this wonderfully styled 1980's era Alfa Romeo must represent an extremely attractive proposition being offered at no reserve.

PLEASE NOTE: The vendor informs us that this vehicle was driven from Modena (Italy) to London and more recently was driven to the auction venue from London. We have noticed that a small fuel leak has developed from a carburettor and therefore advise that the vehicle is not driven away from the auction venue. We can assist with arranging transport if required.

All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.

You can collect your new pride and joy from our venue until 1pm the day following the sale or our partners are on hand to help arrange safe transportation:
