Lot details Registration No: TLG500D Chassis No: 20481 Mot Expiry: July 2015
Well presented in White, 'TLG 500D', almost cries out for a copy of the famous 'Saint' logo on its curvacious bonnet, so inextricably linked are the Robin Hood-like criminal played by Roger Moore and Volvo's distinctively designed Coupe that was penned for Frua by Pelle Petterson. The car was supplied new by Blue Bell Garage, Wilmslow, Cheshire in 1966 and has remained within that County its entire life; and indeed the same family since 1972. The current paintwork was evidently applied by Palatine Motors of Warrington in 1992. The pale-coloured exterior is complemented by Black leather upholstery and Red carpeting. The currently displayed mileage of 60,928 is unwarranted by the vendor but believed to be correct. He is now offering the Volvo complete with its original Green log book, service book, P1800 S owners' instruction manual and a collection of previous MOT certificates.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
