A desirable, Slough-built, 'small boot' Light 15, 'NKX 446' was runner-up at the Citroen Car Club's 1973 Malvern Concours and belonged to Tony Crowley of West Sussex for some thirty-five years.
Purchased by Alan Crisp of Hampshire in 2004, the saloon was entrusted to Traction Renaissance Services of Gloucestershire for various works thereafter including:
2004 - recon water pump, new rear engine mount / clutch / stainless steel exhaust
2005 - Engine overhaul (new timing chain / gears, piston and liner set, conrods, main / big-end bearings, inlet / exhaust valves, core plugs, reground crankshaft, machined cylinder head etc)
G.Foss & Company tidied the carpets in 2005, while Hill Farm Garage Ltd replaced the shock absorbers all round in 2006. C.H. Salter & Son Ltd fitted new custom made drive shafts at a cost of £2,331.33 during 2008. Part of a significant private collection since 2012, the Light 15 has been looked after by Beacon Hill Garage of Hindhead but is now surplus to requirements.
