Chassis No: 10801422013059

Introduced at the 1965 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Mercedes-Benz W108 range featured elegant Paul-Bracq styling, refined straight-six engines, four-wheel disc brakes and the marque's legendary build quality. Only in production from August 1965 - January 1968, the 250SE Saloon accounted for some 55,181 sales worldwide. First UK registered on 22nd July 1966, `YGY 606' boasts the rarer and more desirable `floor shift' mechanism for its four-speed automatic transmission. Entrusted to Pro Paint of Stockport for a bare metal respray since entering the current ownership, other recent work has seen the four-seater treated to sundry re-chroming, refinished wood veneers and replacement carpets. Further benefiting from a new exhaust and service, the Mercedes-Benz is described by the vendor as being in "very good overall" condition with regard to its 2.5-litre fuel-injected engine, automatic transmission, electrical equipment, bodywork, paintwork and interior trim. Stylish yet practical, this appealing 250SE Saloon is offered for sale with a fresh MOT certificate.

PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle has an MOT until February 2015 and has recently been serviced by AKS Motorsports at a cost of £1,300.
