During one of the most successful production runs, 41 years to be precise, the original, pre-BMW Mini was available in numerous permutations, being originally offered by BMC with either Austin or Morris badging and grilles. By late 1969, however, all Minis were merely badged 'Mini'.
The vendor of this front-wheel drive 1972 Mini Clubman 1000 Estate believes the 23,693 miles displayed when entered to be the genuine mileage from new.
The lime flower coloured paint and matching tex trim, apparently very rare for this model, are said to be excellent as are A Series 4-cylinder power unit and 4-speed manual transmission. Indeed, the right-hand drive car is claimed still to be largely original, allegedly having never been welded with the underside said to be totally as new. The original supplying dealer sticker is still in place on the back doors. Under the bonnet, various items have been renewed as necessary to maintain what is described to be the as new appearance.
