Lot details Registration No: GVS 382 Chassis No: 53913 Mot Expiry: Exempt
Repatriated from overseas in 1992, this delightfully-presented righthand drive Barker-bodied DHC was the subject of a £32,000 restoration by Wildae Restorations of Brougton, Devon in 2002. Since 2009 it has formed part of a select private collection, where it has been employed for classic car tours and holidays within the UK. It is finished in Light over Medium Blue; a combination complemented by a distinctive White-piped Blue leather interior, Black hood and whitewall tyres. The accommodation comprises a bench seat at the front augmented by a single sideways-facing one at the rear. The impressive specification further includes: a radio/cassette player, upgraded indicators, and a chrome badge bar equipped with a pair of period driving lamps. The 2522cc straight-six engine drives through a Wilson pre-selector gearbox with column-mounted change. 'GVS 382' comes complete with a history file containing details of the restoration, assorted handbooks, V5 registration document and a fresh MOT certificate.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
