Lot details Registration No: BLE 675 Chassis No: GFE10 Mot Expiry: Exempt
Taken off test on 22nd October 1934, chassis GFE10 was fitted with Limousine de Ville coachwork by Barker. Supplied new to Mrs Bates, the 20/25 migrated to Durban, South Africa in 1964 where the more temperate climate doubtless helped preserve it. Repatriated some years later, it has formed part of a Rolls-Royce and Bentley collection since 2007. Offered for sale from a deceased estate, `BLE 675' is variously described by the vendor as being in `very good' (bodywork, paintwork, original engine, four-speed manual gearbox), `average' (Tan vinyl front / Beige vinyl rear upholstery) or `not finished' (electrical equipment) condition. Showing an unwarranted 82,000 miles to its odometer, this handsome Limousine de Ville is said to have had `lots of recent work done' including being fully re-wired. Treated to six new tyres during 2010, it is accompanied by a V5C Registration Document and copy of its original order form.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
