Lot details Registration No: GPN909L Chassis No: GHNS305020G Mot Expiry: Nov 2005
This 1972-manufactured MGB is an original right-hand drive car on wires, painted in Old English White with black leather interior. Thanks to having been given the Ziebart treatment when new, the roadster is genuinely very good today, says the current owner.
In addition, some five years ago, the car was treated to a cosmetic makeover comprising a respray to deal with a dulling of and the odd blemish to the original paint as well as a full retrim and the replacement of chrome-work. An extensive file of invoices detail work done, parts used and servicing carried out during the last seven years or so. About the only modification to the standard ex-factory specification has been the fitting of telescopic dampers to the rear instead of the original lever-arm shock absorbers.
Current body shell, panels and paintwork condition is claimed to be good, the interior very good and engine, gearbox with overdrive and electrics reportedly all in good order. The latest MOT will be valid until November and the tax disc until next February. According to the vendor, GPN 909L has always proven to be reliable with all components working as they should do.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
