Lot details Registration No: ALY 726 Chassis No: GBA61 Mot Expiry: Exempt
Taken off test on 6th October 1933, chassis GBA61 was originally bodied by Hooper & Co as a Sedancalette (in which both the front and rear portions of the interior can be opened to the elements) before being converted into a Sedanca de Ville. Supplied new to Lady Beit (whose considerable wealth came from South African diamond mines), the 20/25 has formed part of a Rolls-Royce and Bentley collection in recent years. Offered for sale from a deceased estate, `ALY 726' is variously described by the vendor as being in `good' (electrical equipment, four-speed manual gearbox), `average' (original interior trim) or `very good' (bodywork, paintwork, original engine) condition. Showing an unwarranted 69,000 miles to its odometer, this handsome Sedanca de Ville is reportedly accompanied by `lots of previous MOTs and history'.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
