Introduced at the 1999 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Bentley Arnage Red Label boasted 835Nm of torque - more than any other production car! Powered by a revised version of the marque's long-serving 6.75-litre V8 (albeit in turbocharged guise) allied to four-speed automatic transmission, the newcomer was reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 5.9 seconds and 155mph. Further benefiting from a stiffer bodyshell, revised suspension and bigger brakes, the luxury sports saloon came with an Alpine sat-nav system and parking sensors as standard. A tangible link to the Crewe-built Bentleys of the 1950s/60s, the last of 2,282 Red Labels was completed in 2005.

H&H are indebted to the vendor the following information:

Finished in Sherwood green metallic paint and Oatmeal leather interior upholstery. The Bentley features leather five-seat interior with Ascot green piping and top roll, plus two-tone Oatmeal/Ascot green gear knob and steering wheel. The dashboard has the five-dial instrument centre configuration. The leather shows no signs of wear and the rear seats have hardly been sat on, with the burr walnut woodwork is in nearly perfect condition. Every internal surface is either leather or wood or Wilton carpet with sheepskin over mats in Ascot Green which are all original and are in excellent condition. With Red Label badging and matrix radiator grille, the Bentley has the six-spoke 18” alloy wheels shod with correct Pirelli tyres, and the original Alpine Satellite Navigation and entertainment systems are still in place.

Totally unmolested, everything is as it was when new, the Bentley was first registered on the 10th of April 2001. The car has had 4 registered keepers before the current owner - two of which were dealerships (Bentley Leicester and Colbrook Specialists, Peterborough). Maintained regardless of cost by the current keeper has owned the Red Label since 2005, the mileage is only 52,640 from new. Receiving a head gasket replacement at 48,000 miles, “Y989 BBC” is offered with a large quantity of receipts, an MOT until November 2021 with no advisories, and the original two boot umbrellas, a hardback sleeved owner’s manual, the service book (stamps specified below) and a CTEK battery charger/conditioner.
