The vendor purchased this now very pretty 9 Sports as an incomplete restoration project in 2004. Work to the 972cc OHC engine included the fitting of a new counterbalanced crankshaft, bearings and pistons. The ash frame was professionally restored and the Singer fitted with new wings, running boards, doors and body. The result was finished in Cream over Black and complemented by the addition of: a new wiring loom; Black interior trim and hide-covered seats; hood frame, double duck hood, tonneau and side screens. The brightwork was rechromed, mainly by Derby Plating. Recent activity has included the replacement of the springs, clutch and clutch release bearing. The vendor now regards 'BDA 295' as having 'very good' bodywork, paintwork and interior trim, and 'good' engine and four-speed transmission, and is offering this sympathetically restored, matching numbers Singer complete with MOT to February 24 next year and tax until the end of June.
