This stunning-looking lefthand drive Triumph was purchased new on March 13, 1960 from a dealer in Denver by an eminent American scientist for his wife, who later progressed to the role of Colorado's Assistant District Attorney. Though her husband passed away in 2003, the Triumph continued to be cherished by her and remains in her name today, when it has still covered a total of just 21,000 miles. In the '70s, a desire to turn a good car into a show winner saw the TR professionally stripped, and everything cleaned, detailed and carefully reassembled. It was then repainted to show standard in its lovely colour of Iris Blue. Reputedly as good now as then, this time warp Roadster is being offered complete with a range of period photos and paperwork authenticating its history and proof of the EU duty paid on importation. Without question a unique and exciting opportunity for TR enthusiasts everywhere.
