  • Includes the genuine owners manual and a Haynes workshop book
  • Supplied with a current V5C and 20 MOTs showing mileage progression

The Suzuki Motor Co. was established in 1909 by Michio Suzuki to produce machinery for the cotton industry. An initial diversification into four-wheeled transport was curtailed by WW2 but after the war, Japan had a need for cheap reliable transport, so Suzuki, like a lot of others around the world, began to produce clip-on engines for pushbikes. These proved to be an immediate success and soon they were making full motorcycles and by the early 1960s were second only to Honda in the numbers of two-wheelers manufactured. The Bandit range introduced in the mid nineties married together a detuned GSXr oil-cooled engine with an almost retro chassis to create a good all round sports tourer package.

Unusually for a Bandit this 1995 model is more or less standard apart from the slightly higher handlebars and still sports its original stainless steel exhaust, even the mirrors are genuine Suzuki items. Bought new by the vendor in November 1995 it has always been garaged and has only seen dry weather use. The bike comes with a current V5C, its original owners manual, a Haynes workshop manual and both keys with the spare still in its protective plastic tube and the key number tab in place. The current speedo reading is only 14,710 miles, with 20 MOTs to support that, however, this may go up by about 100 miles because the vendor is probably going to ride it to the auction venue. A fantastic opportunity to acquire a well looked after low mileage future classic that is still very usable in modern day road conditions.
