Lot details
Registration No: NGN134L
Chassis No: 72-05-06866G
Mot Expiry: Sept 2014

In the current ownership since 1990, this very original Elan Sprint is finished in Colorado Orange with "very good" original black interior and boasts a known history from new. This includes correspondence with previous owners dating back to 1976 along with MoT certificates back to the same year. A 1976 letter on file confirms a speedometer change at c.12,500 miles making a total of approximately 82,500 covered. Retaining its original chassis, the car is offered with Swansea V5 document recording 5 former keepers, MoT to September 2014, purchase invoices, assorted letters, original handbook, service book, and original workshop manual. A detailed account of maintenance and repair work carried out by the current engineer owner over the past 20 years is also included along with assorted spares including clutch and brake parts. A signed Colin Chapman steering wheel also accompanies the car. With "very good" paintwork and "good" engine it is, in the vendor's view, "a solid, rattle free and reliable Elan Sprint, ready for the summer".
