Lot details Registration No: BLE 718 Chassis No: GRC27 Mot Expiry: Exempt
This imposing right-hand drive Rolls-Royce has remained in its current ownership since 1986. It apparently started life as a Hooper Limousine but has at some stage been converted to a four-door Tourer. It has regularly served as a wedding car and is finished in the appropriate colours of White over Black and trimmed in Beige - a capacious machine, it will apparently seat up to seven people when required. The 3699cc straight-six engine is understood to have been the subject of a recent overhaul and the vendor currently classifies it and the four-speed manual gearbox as "good", the bodywork as "fair", and the paintwork and interior trim as "poor". 'BLE 718' shows an unwarranted mileage of 43,685 and is taxed until the end of April next year. The successor to the Rolls-Royce 20, the 20/25 was manufactured from 1929 to 1936, during which time a total of just 2,827 examples were produced.
