This is an original 1950s cyclemotor made up of a Phillips pushbike together with a Power Pak 49cc clip-on engine. There was a boom in cyclemotor sales in the fifties with even firms like BSA producing various formats of engines to attach to pushbikes. This example was bought new by the vendor's grandfather and used to commute to his job in the Portsmouth dockyards. The last tax disc was issued in November 1974 and once no longer in use was stored in the vendor's cellar. In need of a full restoration, it's all original including a period Smiths speedometer and would make a nice project. The vendor reports that due to a recent house move he has misplaced the original buff logbook and original bill of sale, he suggests if and when they appear he would pass them on to the new owner.
