Lot details Registration No: UYF 309 Chassis No: LML 767 Mot Expiry: Exempt
Chassis LML767 was manufactured in 1955 but seemingly not UK road registered until February 12th 1958. Accident damaged (hence the lack of a roof) prior to entering the current ownership some twenty-two years later, `UYF 309' was used by the vendor to restore another DB2/4 that he later acquired. Today, its remains include: a chassis, rear bodywork, tailgate, door skins, rear axle, and rear suspension components that appear to be complete. There is also a newly-fabricated bulkhead, inner wheel arches that have been tack-welded into position, various front suspension components, and items of chrome window trim not to mention a chassis plate and V5 registration document. As only 764 DB2/4s were produced all told and values have been steadily climbing for many years, it would be nice to think this example could be reborn. At the very least it could once again serve as a valuable supply of spares.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
