Being auctioned here is a 1986 Munich-built BMW 628 CSI, a righthand drive 2-door coupe with automatic transmission, painted in Dolphin Grey and trimmed in cream leather. This is claimed to be a genuine two owners car from new, the original purchaser first registering it in his limited company's name and then transferring it to his own name prior to sale to the current owner and vendor in 1995.
The current condition of the fixed head bodyshell is described to be very good with panels, paint and interior also very good. The 2.8-litre 6-cylinder motor and auto-shift transmission are reportedly in very good order as is the electrical equipment. Alloy wheels and tyres are said to be very good too.
The 107,000 miles displayed on the odometer when entered is believed by the vendor to be the genuine total mileage. There is full BMW service history on file and the brake discs and brake pads as well as the battery have been recently renewed. The 386 BVE cherished registration currently on the car is included.
