Honda reinvented the all purpose motorcycle when they introduced the CX500 series of vee twins in the late seventies and repeated the feat with NVT600/650 family in 1988. In 650 form the motorcycle offered a top speed of 110 mph thanks to a power output of 57 bhp. The slim vee twin engine was housed in an alloy perimeter frame equipped with a monoshock rear suspension system and telescopic forks which endowed the machine with excellent handling. Build quality was to the usual high standard expected of a Honda and the model quickly established a reputation for longevity despite the best efforts of the despatch riding fraternity.
This example, dating from 1994 displays only 47518 kilometres on the odometer. It has, until recently, formed part of a private Dutch Honda collection and is offered in good condition in all respects. It will be accompanied by the application form required to register the motorcycle in the United Kingdom.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
