Lot details Registration No: CTO345B Chassis No: 76504226B Mot Expiry: July 2013
Dating from the final year of Rover 110 production (and 1 of 1,534 made), chassis 76504226B was registered as `CTO 345B' on November 1st 1964. Notable for having had just two keepers / drivers from new, the saloon was reportedly laid-up between November and March for its first twenty years. Always garaged, the Rover is understood to retain much of its original Pine Green over Juniper Green paintwork as well as its factory-fitted 2.6-litre straight-six and Green leather upholstery. Treated to a new servo master cylinder, stainless steel exhaust, re-bushed front suspension, heavy-duty rollbar, tow bar and engine / gearbox overhaul during the current ownership, the 110 boasts a full tool kit, overdrive and Lyback front seats. Described by the vendor as being in "good" (bodywork, paintwork, electrical equipment) or "very good" (engine, transmission, interior trim) condition, `CTO 345B' will be driven to the auction and is only being offered for sale due to ill health.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
