Registration No: NTU 175
Chassis No: B125LH
MOT: July 2022
First registered as ‘NTU 175’ to Rolls-Royce on 5th June 1951, this 4.25-litre MkVI was despatched to Vickers-Armstrong a week later, the two companies enjoying a close relationship borne out of WW2. Vickers retained the Bentley for three years. It then passed through the hands of three further keepers and has been registered to members of the same family since 1978. The MKVI is thus able to boast a known ownership chain from new. Accompanying paperwork includes the original Owners Handbook with handwritten notes relating to service works carried out in the 1960s, a total of 30 old MoTs dating back to 1965, various invoices, and the original buff logbook.
The interior of the car is particularly impressive and still retains that distinctive and rather special ‘Bentley aura.’ Notably, the under dash toolkit is present and importantly, complete. The original under bonnet tools and jack etc are also all present, small details perhaps but all pointers to a long period of caring ownership. ‘NTU 175’ is described by the vendor as having ‘very good’ body, paintwork, interior and transmission with ‘good’ engine. He further informs us that the Bentley ‘has been recently serviced, is in good running order and pleasingly driving as a good MKVI should’.
PLEASE NOTE: This lot has a MOT certificate valid until July 2022
