Lot details
Registration No: TUA 858
Chassis No: P3085
Mot Expiry: Exempt

We are advised this example of Morgan's iconic Plus 4 was restored around a new chassis in the 1990s and subsequently purchased by the vendor from long-term Morgan dealers and specialists Allon White Sports Cars. We understand the work was mainly carried out by Martyn Stendall and that it included the reconditioning of the engine, reconditioning of the gearbox and the fitment of a new body shell / frame including bulkhead, wing valances and rear wings which were sourced from ex-Morgan stock. A new petrol tank, floorboards and new rear springs and shackles were also fitted and the instruments rebuilt by Melvyn Rutter.
Finished in black with red leather and powered by the venerable 1991cc Triumph power plant fed by twin SU carburettors the car benefits from the fitment of a recent new hood and tonneau cover. In the current ownership since 2004, TUA 858 accompanied by a history file, assorted invoices and old MoTs, Swansea V5 document and MoT to 29th August 2014.
