Lot details Registration No: CMD 499 Chassis No: GOH7 Mot Expiry: None
Taken off test on 8th June 1935, chassis GOH7 was fitted with elegant Six-Light Limousine de Ville coachwork by Barker. Supplied new to H.W. Edmunds Esq., the Rolls-Royce was originally road registered as `CMD 499' by Middlesex County Council. Showing signs of past restoration work, the 20/25 is finished in two-tone Grey with Black leather upholstery up front and Beige cloth upholstery to the rear. Part of the collection for several decades, the Rolls-Royce was laid-up several years ago ahead of a mechanical overhaul that was never completed (though, its engine has been loosely reassembled for ease of transport etc). Featuring a glass division, side-mounted spare wheel and occasional seats, this rare Limousine de Ville will require an amount of recommissioning / refurbishment before taking to the road once more but is nonetheless a worthwhile project.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
