Chassis No: SCFCV81C7ETR15361
Mot Expiry: April 2014

1 of just 439 carburettor-fed V8 Volantes made, this particular example - chassis 15361 - was supplied new to Colin Morris Esq. by Aston Martin (Sales) Ltd of Sloane Street, London in October 1984. Registered to Mr Morris's company - the Holco Trading Co of Sugar Quay - for the first thirty-nine months of its life and then to his home address, the four-seater has been in the current (second private) ownership since May 2005. Copious records on file reveal that 'B536 WUU' received 18 AM service stamps between November 1984 and September 1996 not to mention a replacement speedometer at 33,145 miles in 1990 and a new mohair hood during both 1991 and 2001. Entrusted to Bodylines for a thorough bodywork restoration during late 1995 (which comprised structural repairs to the chassis, engine bay and A-/B-post bases plus renewed sills and wing bottoms), the V8 Volante was then despatched to Spray-Tec for a bare metal respray in its original Coniston Sand livery and sundry rechroming. The same company were also responsible for renewing the carpets and reconnollising the grey-piped black leather upholstery in 1997. Predominantly fettled by Ian Mason up until 2000 and by Spray-Tec since then, the Aston Martin has covered some 9,500 miles over the last eight years mainly on Continental tours. Now showing some 53,000 miles to its odometer (circa 86,000 in total), the four-seater is summed-up by the vendor as "a well cared for example of the marque as demonstrated by its accompanying extensive file of maintenance/service records, restoration details and numerous past MOT certificates/tax discs". Riding on correct-type BBS alloys, this handsome 'matching numbers' V8 Volante is also offered for sale with its original warranty, service book, owner's handbook, fresh MOT certificate and road fund licence valid until September 2013.
