Boosted by the rebirth of the Morgan Three-Wheeler, trikes currently seem to be increasingly in vogue. For those who've not been introduced, the Lomax is a British designed and built kit car that's been in production since 1982. The 223 model (2 cylinders, 2 seats and 3 wheels) is generally produced as a fibreglass-bodied open Roadster - ie with no form of roof. The sale car is an early production model, which has very clearly had much care and money devoted to it. The vendor describes the Red paintwork, Black interior and brightwork as 'like new' and says the engine and running gear are 'excellent, as are the tyres and exhaust'. This particular example has been equipped with Bugatti-style wheels and refashioned suspension. The car's odometer currently stands at an unwarranted 76,890 and it is being sold complete with an MOT certificate valid to October 29. A fun car of immense character.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
