Lot details

Chassis No: WPOZZZ91ZJS1033555
Mot Expiry: Feb 2007

Finished in marine blue with dark blue leather upholstery, this left-hand drive 911 Carrera is believed by the vendor to have covered some 89,500 miles from new (however, he does not warrant the mileage). A 1988 model that is thought to have begun life in Italy, the car was imported to the UK in 2000. Fitted with the desirable G50 five-speed manual gearbox, electric seats / windows / roof, rear seat belts, sunroof wind deflector, remote central locking and heated seats, it is said to have undergone a top end engine rebuild approximately 20,000 miles ago. Carried out by Winslow Motor Services, the overhaul totalled £3,600 and included the following replacement parts: "piston rings, gasket set, valve guide, service kit, hose clamp and two exhaust barrel nuts". Treated to a respray of its front bumper and spoiler in mid 2003, 'H670 BGH' has apparently been regularly maintained by Porsche specialist Loe Bank Motors of Edenfield (Lancashire) during the current three year ownership. Last serviced in February 2006, the coupe is summed up by the seller as follows: "This car is in stunning condition. It has been maintained regardless of cost since import. It is a great drive, superb to look at, however the car is eighteen years old and while a usable classic it is not a concours example". Riding on Fuchs alloy wheels, 'H670 BGH' is offered for sale with "£8,000+ of receipts, CD player, Thatcham alarm / immobiliser, full service history since import", MOT certificate valid until February 2007 and road tax until September 30th 2006.
