- Comprehensive photographic restoration

- A-specification with B-specification upgrades

- Servo and discs all round

Supplied with ultra rare factory hardtop

Body off repair and respray by specialist in Fibreglass low heat baking methods
Chassis stipped back, repaired where nessessary, waxed internally with Bilt Hamber Dynax S-50 and externally with Hammerite underbody seal with added waxoil.

New servo fitted, all new Copper Nickel brake pipes callipers refurbished and greenstuff pads fitted. New master cylinder. Handbrake stripped, new cable and handbrake pads fitted. New brake check valve fitted, often found removed.

New front Koni adjustable shock absorbers and new Armstrong rear dampers.

All suspension parts stripped and either refurbished or replaced. All bushes replaced with Polybush.

Worm and peg stearing column replaced with New rack and pinion system from Philip Glenerster at Autotec, welded to Chassis.

B spec Chassis outriggers with New tubular hoop fitted to prevent body distortion under cornering.

Petrol tank removed tested, refurbished and fitted with all new gauges seals etc
New solid state fuel pump fitted.

Complete new wiring loom fitted, supplied by David Manners. New fuse system fitted.

Existing distributor refurbished and fitted with electronic ignition within distributor by H & H Ignition Solutions

Dynamo replaced with 50 amp Lucas Alternator, all negative earth.

Belt driven fan replaced with Kenlowe system with automatic and adjustable thermostatic control

Radiator cleaned and flushed and all hoses and fittings replaced with new including stainless steel pipes. Stainless steel expansion header tank added to the existing header tanks to prevent the longstanding dart issue of water loss.

Salisbury back axle refurbished including new crown wheel and pinion.

Complete stainless steel exhaust system with new heat resistant pads fitted to underside of body.

Boot area refurbished with Ply panels and new floor to house full size spare wheel and compartments for storage, fully carpeted in black.

Modern radio fitted into new glove box with remote control. Twin 12v connections fitted beneath dash.

5 new tubeless wire wheels, 5.0 x 15, 72 wires in silver paint finish. All from MWS including new spinners and fitted with 185/65 R 15 Yokohama DB V500 tyres.

Whole dash replaced with new. All six dials overhauled Speedy Cables of Swansea, all dials are correct and as original.

Gearbox overhauled and fitted with Laycock de Normanville J Type Overdrive Unit by Overdrive Repair Services of Sheffield. New complete clutch and slave cylinder.

Engine checked, sump removed and all sump filters and oil paths cleaned. All gaskets replaced including the cork gasket between engine and gearbox.

Carburetors removed refurbished with all new parts from Burlen, similar with fuel filter. New flexible stainless steel pipes fitted.

All ignition cables replaced with new from Magnecor.

All new Everflex hood, tonneau and cover by Bryan Purves Ltd. Hood frame stripped refurbished and painted. New stainless steel hood clips fitted.

Front bumber removed and replaced with correct for age cats whisker bumbers, rear over riders replaced with new.

All Chrome-work either new or replated.

New windscreen fittings to refurbished and re chromed screen surround with new Triplex laminated screen.

Door glass winding mechanisms replaced with new cogs and teeth, all dart specification so wind fully down.

Original buckets seats replaced with new old stock Jaguar reclining seats with head restraints on new sliding mechanisms, all covered in black leather along with the remainder of the whole interior.

Inertia real seat-belts fitted.

Car sent to Ian Nuthall at Historic and Sports car Specialist INRacing for a complete shake down and checking and correction where necessary of all work carried out including 4 wheel alignment/optiflex geometry check and adjustment.
 

All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
