Produced by US automaker Chevrolet from 1941 to 1952 the Fleetline was introduced in late 1941 as a 4-door sedan. In 1942 a fastback 2-door "Aerosedan" was launched. Highly collectable today with its sleek looks many have been made into street rods, with the common Chevrolet 350 Small block V8 and the 350 or 400 turbo transmission being used. The sale car on offer is no exception and power comes from a mid-1990's Camaro 350 CI 5 litre V8 mated to a 350 turbo gearbox. The front suspension is taken from a later GM model with the shock absorbers and brake discs having been replaced with 4 pot calipers helping the Chevy to stop. Fitted with Hedman mufflers and stainless steel rear sections to the exhaust 'NFF 322' has been UK registered since 1994 and is described by the vendor as 'excellent' with regards to the paintwork and body work with 'good' used for the engine, gearbox and interior. Offered with Swansea V5 document, the vehicle is MoT exempt.
