The value of the motorcycle as a means of communication was quickly recognised by the military during the First World War. The British forces adopted a number of machines, however the majority of solos supplied were either Douglas, or, as offered here Triumph Model H's, with approximately 30,000 of the model being produced before hostilities ceased.
For anyone seeking a first vintage motorcycle the "trusty Triumph" is ideal. The countershaft gearbox, well proven engine design and belt drive promise a degree of reliability and usability and a wealth of knowledge exists for the model.
This example appears to be either an older restoration or a very well preserved original example. It is offered with a Swansea V5 registration certificate.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
