Lot details
Registration No: ADV 1T
Chassis No: ZFFYD25C000066039
Mot Expiry: May 2015

Factory finished in Argento Nurburgring with Rosso hide and Rosso carpets, chassis 66039 was supplied new by Maranello Concessionaires of Egham to Melbourne Garages of Jersey for the latter's customer P. Edwards Esq. Accompanying invoices show that the four-seater was fettled at 1,533, 2,783, 4,189, 4,353, 6,394, 7,508, 8,589, 8,670, 8,761, 9,964, 10,887, 13,127, 13,260, 14,977, 15,094, 15,149, 15,218, 18,009, 18,680, 18,722, 18,930, 18,958 and 19,499 miles before migrating to the mainland during early 1998.

Serviced in-house by Westover Sports Cars of Blandford at 19,731 miles ahead of its sale to Mrs R.J. Stow of Faulkland on August 17th 1998, the Ferrari was used on the Continent but returned to Westover at 25,622, 28,980 and 29,105 miles. Serviced by Mortimer Houghton Turner Ltd of Cheltenham on August 9th 2001 at 33,104 miles, chassis 66039 entered the current (third UK) ownership some eleven months and 5,000 miles later.

Hailing from a motoring family, the vendor has added some 12,000 miles to the Ferrari's odometer over the past dozen years. A keen motorist, his tenure has seen `ADV 1T' treated to a freer breathing sports exhaust, new clutch, brake system refurbishment, front suspension rejuvenation and thorough engine overhaul. Carried out by TT Workshops on a protracted basis (2006-2011) but at a discounted rate (£14,779.14), the latter encompassed the fitting of new bearings, gaskets, seals and piston rings etc not to mention a power steering overhaul.

While more recently the 412 has had its air-conditioning re-gassed and benefited from four new Michelin TRX tyres at a cost of circa £2,000. Smartly presented and sounding decidedly purposeful upon inspection, this very rare and much underrated Ferrari is offered for sale with its original book pack, copy order documentation, tool kit, sundry old MOTs, numerous bills / invoices and current MOT certificate valid until May 2015.

All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.

You can collect your new pride and joy from our venue until 1pm the day following the sale or our partners are on hand to help arrange safe transportation:
