Purchased by its previous keeper in 1989 who laid it up from 1992 until 2006 when he sold it to the vendor who commenced an exhaustive eight-year long restoration. Submitted for MOT testing for the first time in twenty-two years on 24th June 2014, the Ford sailed through. The following work was carried out as part of the refurbishment:
