Lot details Registration No: GSL 472 Frame No: YB31.5258 Engine No: YB31.2564 cc: 348 MOT Expiry Date: May 2007
The B31 was the only new model to be introduced when BSA announced its post-war range in August 1945, although even it had its origins in the earlier B29 and WB30. The overhead valve 350cc single was housed in a rigid frame with a four speed gearbox and telescopic forks and was endowed with good performance for the time. It would continue in this form, largely unaltered until 1949 when the plunger frame was announced.
This 1948 model is described as being a nice original bike, with some renovated parts,
which runs well. It is offered with a Mot valid until May 2007 and a road fund licence valid to the same month.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
