This machine was restored/rebuilt during 2012 and has not been used since, it is based on a 450 Scr modified to replicate the Spaggiari factory bike raced at the end of the sixties. The frame, which is fitted with a modified swinging arm has been lightened by the removal of redundant lugs, is fitted with a set of Ceriani forks and rear shock absorbers. A special four leading shoe front brake and ventilated rear retard the machine. The engine capacity has been increased to approximately 490cc and a special high compression piston has been fitted. Larger valves controlled by a competition cam and fed by a Dell'Orto carburettor are fitted as is a Veglia tachometer. The transmission features a five speed gearbox. Presented to a very high standard this machine is perfect for the Ducati enthusiast seeking a machine to race or parade in classic events.
